For us, it is all about creating architecture that connects people and cities – architecture that makes life run smoothly, supplies the necessities for everyday living and inspires positive development. We develop solutions and processes that originate from interdisciplinary collaboration for the common good and with the clear aim of creating greater cohesion. It is the commonality and the whole that is important. This means that we would rather contribute to strengthening the context - the space, the street, the city, the landscape - than promoting a single expression. This is the best way to contribute to a more cohesive society.

We build on insight - and always based on analysis

For us, design is about balancing a wide range of considerations from creative visions to functional needs. The architectural expression will always be based on a balance of dreams, possibilities and limitations. We never create form for form’s sake, but design on a foundation of knowledge.

Practice #3:
We simplify - and put the essentials at the center

What is the core idea and how do we express it in the clearest and most straightforward way? We are rooted in a Scandinavian design tradition with a focus on quality for all and frugality in the use of materials and effects. Anything that doesn’t contribute to the idea of the project must go. We will always reduce complexity to strengthen a statement.

Practice #4:
We create timeless solutions - and make an impact that is relevant both today and tomorrow

We create beautiful and solid buildings, made with proper materials - free from random flows. It is crucial for us to deliver strong solutions that are flexible over time. Like a building with good daylight and a healthy indoor climate will always be attractive and relevant. We create robust solutions for all times.

We cultivate beauty - and strive for clarity and simplicity

Beauty must always be considered and no job is too small for the elaborate and beautiful solution. All analytical considerations must always be complemented by: how can I make it as simple, uncomplicated, clear and beautiful as possible? In a world of complexity and demands, we insist on caring for the environment and creating aesthetic quality in everyday life.
