Urban development and mobility are closely intertwined - urban spaces are where we move and the integration of green and well-functioning mobility is the backbone of the development of our urban areas, large and small. When we work with urban development, our primary focus is on designing and integrating mobility solutions for the benefit of urban life and citizens. We shape public transport systems, solutions for cyclists and pedestrians, stations and transport terminals, bridges, squares and roads. All to create better travelling experiences, well-functioning traffic and good city life.

Green mobility

As architects specialising in green mobility, we work to make it easier and more attractive to choose sustainable modes of transport. Whether it's localising stations and stops, bicycle connections or designing safe and accessible urban spaces, new trees or designing a guiding line for the visually impaired, we can help create beautiful and well-functioning environments that stimulate living and moving around the city. Concepts such as efficiency, reliability and safety are often used as success criteria for new mobility structures - and these are all important parameters. However, good mobility requires more than just getting from A to B as quickly as possible, and we bring a holistic approach to the task. Whether we work with the integration of traffic solutions in cities or landscapes, spatial conditions, human scale, aesthetic quality and good accessibility are always key concepts. Thinking holistically, where technical requirements, sustainability considerations and aesthetic and spatial quality become part of the same discussion, is usually the best starting point for creating good, green mobility solutions.

Our experience

We have been providing innovative and reliable solutions to our customers since 1901. We work both in Denmark and abroad for public developers, the state and municipalities, as well as private developers and operators. Our extensive experience has taught us to understand the complexity of projects involving mobility. These are often projects that attract a lot of public attention and involve many stakeholders. As consulting architects, we understand what it means to work in a field that many people have legitimate wishes and opinions about. Mobility infrastructure is also part of the shared public space. It becomes part of many people's everyday lives. That is why we are committed to developing solutions that are functional, user-friendly and attractive to look at.

To ensure the sustainable development of our cities, green mobility must be our first choice. Promoting public transport, cycling and walking not only benefits the climate, but also supports better urban living, improved public health and a stronger economy.
