Specialist Knowledge
Urban and Landscape Analyses
Our cities and landscapes must accommodate a wide range of functions, interests, and concerns – from urban development and infrastructure to nature conservation and climate adaptation. This places high demands on the prioritization, planning, and siting of new developments and structures. Urban and landscape analyses provide a comprehensive overview of physical, regulatory, and contextual conditions and form a critical basis for decision-making in the early project stages.

Methods that support holistic development
We use a range of methods and tools to analyse urban and landscape environments – including the Landscape Character Method (LKM), developed by the Danish Ministry of the Environment. The method helps create clarity, supports holistic thinking, and qualifies interventions in vulnerable and complex settings.
We also conduct urban space analyses, flow studies, and customised assessments tailored to contexts such as station areas, climate adaptation, solar parks, and technical facilities.
