Dagmarhus
Copenhagen, Denmark
Gottlieb Paludan Architects have been the architects behind the transformation of Dagmarhus on Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen. The historic building now houses a 238-room hotel with bar, dining and conference facilities on a new penthouse floor.
Dutch hotel chain citizenM and Danish hotel owner Claus Hildebrandt have opened a hotel in the historic Dagmarhus on Rådhuspladsen. Gottlieb Paludan Architects have architected the transformation of the former office building into a modern design hotel in collaboration with citizenM's stakeholders, suppliers and interior designers.
GPA has realized citizenM's brand standards and special design requirements within the framework of the Danish building regulations and the building's architecture and constructions.
From administration building to hotel in harmony with history and urban environment
The hotel has an entrance and lobby on the ground floor, hotel rooms from the 1st to 6th floor.
A new, secluded dining and viewing floor in the same architectural idiom on the 7th floor.
