Our cities and landscapes must accommodate a wide range of functions, interests, and concerns – from urban development and infrastructure to nature conservation and climate adaptation. This places high demands on the prioritization, planning, and siting of new developments and structures. Urban and landscape analyses provide a comprehensive overview of physical, regulatory, and contextual conditions and form a critical basis for decision-making in the early project stages.

Lundtofte waterworks
Lyngby, Danmark
Lyngby Taarbæk Forsyning (Lyngby Taarbæk Utility) has established a new and modern water works facility, located on the former water tower site at DTU Campus.
The waterworks building is integrated into the southwestern part of the DTU campus area and, in addition to its technical functions, houses welfare facilities for employees and guest areas for school classes and researchers at DTU.
The exterior appearance of the building is adapted to the subdued design of the existing buildings at DTU.
